On the Job: Montgomery School
I recently spent the day at the Montgomery School, a Preschool–8 independent school in Chester Springs. I went from preschoolers asking "why?" about everything, to lower schoolers testing water samples outdoors, to middle schoolers working through STEAM projects that were well beyond anything I did at their age. In between I caught their chapel, the arts, and plenty of muddy, happy moments in the outdoor classroom.
On the Job: Delaware Valley University Alumni Magazine
Always a quick yes when there are animals involved and University is right down the street! Delaware Valley University is located in Doylestown, PA and I got to spend some time on campus shooting for Horizons, their alumni magazine.
DelVal started back in 1896 as the National Farm School, and that hands-on learning experience is still a big part of who they are today.
Big Bonus: DelVal is also home to Terrain, which is absolutely beautiful. If you're ever in the area, make time to stop by!
Have a magazine, website, or campaign that needs photos built to flex? Let's talk!
On the Job: Germantown Academy
This spring, I spent two full days photographing Germantown Academy, a school that is literally older than the United States itself. We covered A LOT of ground bouncing around campus—six miles a day, if my pedometer is to be believed—and looking back through the full photo library, I’m not sure how we managed to fit so much into just two shoot days.
On the Job: Marymount University
I headed out to Arlington, Virginia this spring to visit Marymount University for some marketing work. We built in two days on campus, which meant we could come back the next morning for the spots where the light just wasn't cooperating the day before, and catch a few angles we'd missed the first time around. The two days also let us pop into so many different locations and classrooms which really shows off the university as a whole. That extra day made a real difference — the gallery ended up with a nice range of shots the University can use across their marketing in a variety of ways.
On The Job: A Day in the Life of a PCOM Surgery Resident
For PCOM's Digest Magazine, we followed Kara Evans, DO '23, through a full day of her surgery residency at Temple Health–Chestnut Hill Hospital. No posed shots, no "can you do that again but smile." Just her actual day, start to finish.
On the Job: Wehrung’s
We spent a day at Wehrung's shooting the whole operation — the warehouse, the lumberyard, and the retail store up front. Forklifts, stacked lumber, the yard in action, plus the bright aisles and staff on the retail side. Good mix of gritty and polished, which is exactly what a place like this needs for marketing.
2026 graduation roundup
Another graduation season is in the books, folks. It was MKP’s 19th year documenting graduations. This year we photographed 8,493 grads. You read that right - we got to celebrate with OVER EIGHT THOUSAND GRADS, across eleven schools, and twenty-two graduation ceremonies.
On the Job: Meadowood Senior Living
I have lived near Meadowood, a senior living community, for most of my life, and had always assumed it fit the traditional retirement-home stereotype. But in spending some time there, it turns out that Meadowood is built different.
on the job: Messiah University
I headed out to Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania a couple times this spring to visit Messiah University for some marketing work. It had been a few years since their last campus shoot, so we had a wide variety of subjects on the shot list. Of course plenty of photos of campus and active classroom shots, as well as time to find all the quiet little nooks Messiah has to offer. The healthy mix of formal and candid shots gave the final gallery a really nice range that the University will be able to use in a mix of marketing spaces for years to come.
