On the Job: Germantown Academy

This spring, I spent two full days photographing Germantown Academy, a school that is literally older than the United States itself. We covered A LOT of ground bouncing around campus—six miles a day, if my pedometer is to be believed—and looking back through the full photo library, I’m not sure how we managed to fit so much into just two shoot days.

And still, I came away feeling like we’d only scratched the surface of everything there is to discover about this special place. From classrooms and labs to athletics, arts, and everything in between, there was no shortage of things happening—or great photos to make. The campus is bright and beautiful, the students are engaged, and the community is vibrant.

Finding great shots was the easy part. Narrowing them down? Not so much. So instead of pretending I have restraint, here are way too many favorites from the project.
