Marketing Teams Need More Than Just Headshots

Most of my email requests start the same way: "We need updated headshots."

I agree, headshots are important for some instances.. but they’re just one small piece of the puzzle that makes up your marketing.

Headshots are great for:

  • Team directories

  • LinkedIn profiles

  • Speaker bios

  • Leadership pages

  • Press features

When you use headshots for these examples, they keep things consistent and professional. What they don’t do is show how your team actually works, what your company culture feels like, or what it's like to work with your organization.

Show What Your Team Actually Does

Websites. Social. Recruiting. Internal comms. Event promo. Client-facing materials. A simple headshot isn't going to show that.

What actually helps is a full visual library of the dream team. Photos of your team collaborating, your workspace, leadership in action, the day-to-day energy of your organization.

Why this matters more than ever

Stock photos and outdated headshots create a gap between how you present yourselves and the real experience of working with your team. Real photography closes that gap.

Ready to build a visual library that actually works as hard as your team does? Let's talk.
