I’ve got some cool news to share today! This November I’ll be I’ll be speaking at Confab Higher Ed, right here in my dear Philadelphia. I’m putting together a breakout session on creating and managing high quality images for your marketing efforts. I’ll be focusing on how Millenials generate and consume images, and how we as marketers can speak that visual language. I’ll also be chatting about the best ways to make your existing archives work for you by harnessing the power of metadata and digital asset management.

Hope to see you there!

I’m happy to share that three of the Saint Joe’s projects I had a significant role on in 2015 were awarded with CUPPIES at the CUPRAP conference last month.

My Intellect cover, which I conceptualized and executed, won a Silver CUPPIE:

My photograph from the Pope’s visit to campus took Gold:

And the “Jesuit Is” 30th Street Station takeover campaign, which exclusively featured dozens of the images I’ve shot for the university over the last few years, including many that were created specifically for this campaign:

The “Jesuit Is” campaign also won a CASE Gold Award. See more images from the campaign here.

In September, Saint Joseph’s University staged it’s annual Station Domination, buying out all of the advertising space available at 30th Street Station in Philadelphia. The campaign, which tied in to the Papal visit at the end of September, was populated entirely with photographs by Melissa Kelly Photography.

In December, the Council for Advancement and Support of Education announced that the campaign had won a Gold Award.
